Son of the governor of Kinshasa, DRC assassinated in Belgium

Gaylord Kimbuta Kazadi, son of the governor of the province of Kinshasa, was assassinated Tuesday, April 26 in the town of Ham-sur-Heure, Belgium, where he lived.
According to the Belga news agency, two individuals, Gaylord Kimbuta Kazadi and Alexis Guida, came out of a car early Tuesday afternoon outside the residence of Mr. Gabriel Alleyn, on the Rue du Calvaire street, in Common Ham-sur-Heure.

SUDAN – The Great Divorce

Sudan, Africa’s largest country, is in the final run-up to a critical referendum on independence for the oil-rich south in January 9, 2011 that seems certain to split the war-scarred state. For many, there is a fear that the split between the North and South could birth a new religion conflict between the two sides: the north, dominated by Arab Muslims, and the south, predominantly Christians.
